Planet Sputnik travelled back to the 1940s for this wonderful period cover shoot for top automotive and lifestyle magazine Classic American. In preparation for the shoot, we sourced plenty of period props including a picnic set, gramophone player complete with 78rpm records, Box Brownie camera, binoculars, vintage clothing and, of course, that stunning 1941 Cadillac coupe. The resulting images – which were shot by renowned automotive photographer Garry Stuart in the Cotswolds – couldn’t have been more authentic…
