PLANET SPUTNIK
Tessa Kuragi is feline fine

When London-based model and artist Tessa Kuragi was planning a feline-focused pin-up photography project with a vintage feel, she looked to Planet Sputnik. We came up trumps, providing not only the perfect retro backdrop, but the purr-fect pet as well, in the shape of our very own Sputnik-The-Cat.

The pictures from the sultry shoot can be seen in full in Tessa’s latest art book, Cat-astrophe-Sex. Costing £30, the title aims to harness the energy humans devote online to cute cats and the female form, in order to positively redirect awareness to the very real threat of Near-Earth-Objects (NEOs) to the existence of all humankind.
